“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
- Nelson Mandela
Late May 2020, marked a global outcry for racism and oppression of black people to stop. Black Lives Matter movement was once against reignited. But this time, it wasn't just black people out into our streets amid the global COVID pandemic. No, we saw representation from all age groups and all race. Through this tragedy, we have a glimpse of hope. Our founder, Faith Ruto bravely used her social media platform to show solidarity and to demand change. You can watch the video on her emotional plea. Her local newspaper "Basingstoke Gazzette" ran her story. Please, click HERE to read the full article. For many black people, they are feeling tired and angry that in 2020, all humans are not treated equally.
We believe that now is the time to facilitate change, bring together equality experts, leaders and black professionals to improve equality in the workplace, education and in our society.
